My Personal Journey with Sugar Cravings
Hey everyone! I’m excited (and a little nervous) to share something that’s been on my mind for a while. Lately, I’ve been in a bit of a rut—constantly craving sugar, dealing with breakouts and unsightly acne scars, and even noticing more chin hair on my face. Not to mention, my periods feel like they’re lasting forever, and my hormones seem completely out of whack. I’ve also been feeling unusually hyperactive, my sleep schedule is all over the place, and my mood swings are something else.
I knew I had to make a change, and that’s why I decided to start a 30-Day No Sugar Challenge. It’s a way for me to take control of my health, reset my body, and hopefully find some balance again. And I’d love for you to join me on this journey!
Why I’m Doing This
I’ve always had a bit of a sweet tooth, but lately, it’s been more of an obsession. I’d reach for sugary snacks whenever I felt stressed, tired, or just bored, and I started noticing the effects it was having on my body and mind. My skin, once clear, was breaking out like never before, and those acne scars just wouldn’t fade. Then, to top it all off, I noticed more chin hair popping up—a telltale sign that something was off with my hormones.
My periods started feeling like they were dragging on forever, and I just didn’t feel like myself. I was either bouncing off the walls with energy or crashing hard, and my sleep schedule? Forget about it. I knew I needed to make a change, not just for my appearance, but for my overall health and well-being.

The 30-Day No Sugar Challenge
So, what’s this challenge all about? For 30 days, I’m cutting out added sugars, artificial sweeteners, and processed foods that contain sugar. The only sugars I’m allowing come from natural sources like fruits and healthy carbs—think whole grains and starchy vegetables.
I’ve shared this challenge on Instagram and TikTok, and I’m inviting you to join me! Use the hashtag #NoSugarGlow to share your progress, tips, and struggles. Let’s support each other through this journey to better health!
